It has come to our attention that at Red Valley Saddle Club's last horse show some issues had arose. First and foremost I would like to offer our sincerest apologies to all those who attended, from Marten's Equestrian. I would like to assure you RVSC stance on this type of behaviour is zero tolerance. We pride ourselves on a family orientated and friendly club, and nothing less will be tolerated. At all times we expect our members/exhibitors to conduct themselves appropriately and show respect and tolerance to those around them. From the President:

Hello Folks, just wanting to update you as to the changes your Executive Board have decided on for the 2012 showing season. The Board of Directors has changed very little from last year, we will be adding new Secretary and Newsletter individuals, soon to be announced.

Secondly it was decided the Adult walk/job class will not be continued in 2012 due to lack of interest. Rusty green class has been made permanent, and an official description of the class will be forthcoming. Our popular "Casual Dress" show (usually the 2nd show of the season) will remain. It has been decided unanimously that starting in the 2012 season our gaming exhibitors will now be required to wear a number to show, one number for each horse showing.

On the economical side of things, we have had to implement some change as well, they are as follows: Due to an increase across the board of Judges fees we will now be charging a $1 Judging fee for each exhibitor, this charge will show up on the entry forms. As well this year, we will have more laminated numbers, however a $2 deposit will be required, this deposit will be returned to the exhibitor at the end of the show day when the number is turned back into the show office. Sorry for the inconvenience, but due to numbers not being returned we are completely out and need to have more printed and laminated.

As always, your Executive encourages any and all feedback with regards to changes or ideas.
